Calendar Info:
A school calendar committee was created by the Superintendent. The committee consists of teachers, school administrators, PTA representatives from all schools and Board of Education members. A short survey, created by the group, will be available from February 2nd through February 8th on the school district’s home page. If someone is unable to take the survey online, hard copies will be available at all of the schools and central office. We would like to encourage both district staff and parents to participate. The survey results will guide the committee and the Superintendent in recommending a two-year school calendar to the Board of Education.
Budget Info:
Budget season is upon us again. The superintendent will be presenting the proposed school budget to the Board of Education on the following days: 1/27/09, 1/29/09, and 2/3/09. Budget deliberations by the Board of Education will take place on 2/5/09 and 2/10/09. A final budget must be adopted on 2/10/09.
