A high school student’s life can be so busy and stressful…tests, papers, homework, sports and work.
Wouldn’t it be great to learn skills that can help you cope with all of this? Wouldn’t it be great to learn how to quiet your busy mind so you can do your best? Wouldn’t it be great to have more balance in your life?
Come to the free, guided meditation classes offered to Newtown High School students. This class will show you how to focus your concentration, cope with stress and build your awareness.
Instructor Joy Le Vin Abrams will use gentle yoga stretching and mindfulness based meditation to help you relax, de-stress and live in the moment.
Join us on Mondays, from 2:00 to 2:30, in the Child Development Room. It starts on February 2nd and lasts for 6 weeks.
Sign up is on Mr. Tolson’s email at jefftolson@gmail.com. This class is limited to the first 25 students.
